The Merlot MBMD is a superlative rollerball pen featuring an intricate barrel in ‘Twist’ Mokume Gane by Mike Sakmar (the ancient forging technique used to decorate the hilts of Samurai swords), and a light structure in aerospace grade titanium clad in Red Malle Burl wood. The accents on the cap are in Mokume Gane, and the pocket clip is set with Citrine. This beautiful writing instrument also features a screw on cap. The Merlot MBMD is a limited worldwide edition of 100 pieces, and the Mokume Gane confers to each of them a distinct and original personality. Much like their owners, no two pens are ever alike.
