Tom Mayo Small Covert Wharnecliff 2.875" Framelock Folder / Titanium & Carbon Fiber / Stonewashed 6K Steel ( Pre Owned )
Product Details

Tom Mayo is a legend in the industry with over 35 years of experience under his belt, as you can see by the Roman numerals under his logo. This knife was handbuilt the old fashion way to perfection by Tom in Hawaii and it features his standard amazing fit and finish. The 2.875" wharncliffe blade is made from Stellite 6K steel, a cobalt based alloy . Although it has a thumb slot, this is more of a slide open type of folder, harkening back to a time before bearings and flipper tabs. The handle is slab titanium with a bead blasted finish and milled hole on the dhow face with a carbon fiber scale that is a trademark of Tom's. So much so in fact that some aftermarket customizations that have this appearance are called Mayoized. This knife is ergonomic, light, tactical, utilitarian, highly collectible, and most of all beautiful. Tom has made an amazing knife here, superiorly made by one of the best in the business.

This is a pre owned knife. The knife pictured is the actual knife for sale. Comes as pictured
