Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. This version is a special edition model created for the 2017 BLADE Show in Atlanta and has a classic look with a modern updated feel. It's a double edge bayonet blade with a stonewashed finish, a tri-grip textured thumb slide, and a countoured aluminum handle. It's wearing a black Mil-Spec hard coat anodizing and the show special markings around the logo on the presentation side. The Ultratech's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. The Ultratech's lightweight, one handed open and close action, slim shape, and scalpel sharp blade makes it a one of a kind knife, only available through Microtech.
