Vintage circa 1966 - 1974 MARBLE’S Woodcraft Hunter-Skinner in used condition – scarce as such. Marble’s Woodcraft was the best Skinner available when it first came out in 1914; since then Woodcraft design was copied under different names by various companies countless times all over the world. Original American stock proudly made in Gladstone, Michigan, USA. Marble’s Knives was one of the best US makers of hunting knives, axes and other outdoor gear since 1898.
The knife is about 8.5″; the blade is about 4″; 3-line Marble’s / Gladstone / MICH. U.S.A. logo on ricasso. The blade is RAZOR-sharp; it has been re-sharpened; the tip is intact. Stacked leather washers and bright aluminum pommel handle with colored fiber-n-brass spacers and brass guard; all parts are tight with minimal play in the guard. Original pre-74 “plain” leather sheath with marked snap is in great condition; the leather is soft and supple. This vintage Marbles USA vintage Woodcraft knife is in 100% serviceable condition still; you will not be disappointed.
