Jim Whitman Hunter 4" Fixed Blade / Maple Burl & Whale Bone / "Whitman Grind" Satin AEB-L

Jim made knives in Chugiak, AK for many years and became a well known name in the state for his now famous "Whitman Grind". A full custom coves grind with a wrap around ricasso. This specific, fully custom knife is his traditional hunter design. A full tanged blade with stippled ricasso and the "Whitman Grind", made from AEB-L tool steel, maple burl scales and whale bone bolster. Overall a beautiful knife that shows what a true craftsman Jim was.
