From Great Eastern Cutlery, the Northfield UN-X-LD #94 Liberty is a premium, classic single blade jack knife with brass liner and pin construction, polished grooved bolsters and Flag / Freedom acrylic scales. The 1095 carbon steel blade has a clip point profile and bright polished finish.
Blades: The large clip point blade is bright polish finished 1095 carbon steel with a flat grind, long pull opener and half-stop slip joint action. The blade comes etched on the front with the Freedom moniker and snake on the back.
1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
