The Sonoma V2 has been in the works for quite some time. The original Sonoma frame lock was designed as an urban utility folder in flat titanium. For V2, Jens and Jesper designed an outdoor working liner lock with rounded canvas Micarta scales. As with the original Sonoma, the Sonoma V2 is manufactured by Reate Knives.
With its slim profile and comfortable ergonomics, the Sonoma V2 is bound to become a favorite "go-to" folder for outdoor adventurers. Perfect for day-hikes or week-long backpacking trips, the Sonoma V2 packs light but will perform heavy cutting tasks along the way.
The decision on the name for this folder is a nod to Sonoma County which lies just north of GiantMouse's original headquarters in Marin County, California. Sonoma is known for its scenic beauty - rolling hills and valleys, acres upon acres of vineyards, and over 250 wineries. The alluring landscape, along with no end to amazing food and wine, makes Sonoma an ideal place for the GiantMouse Team to get the creative juices flowing.
