This knife does not have a lock but is held open by your thumb and the extended blade tang under a normal grip. The Wharncliffe blade is an effective utility cutter, applying pressure along the entire cutting edge so every millimeter is actually effective. The Urchin is a great EDC piece for those living in restrictive localities that still want something tactical. This model features a black DLC blade and aluminum handles with carbon fiber inlays.
