Boker Weiner Shaber 3.25" Satin Blade, High Carbon / Black Synthetic / French Point ( Discontinued )
The name "Wiener Schaber" refers to this particular straight razor shape, usually 4/8" width, which stands out through its elegant and fluent lines. It was used in the barber shops in the first half of the 20th century to work on the contours of the beard, or for a "post shaving." It also doubles as a perfect straight razor for daily shaving, with its sleek and delicate shape. It is characterized by a short blade and the French point, and the edge that leads into a smooth radius to end in the tang. This feature gives the Wiener Schaber its own unique appearance. The blade is made of classic carbon steel (non-stainless) with an extremely fine grain. Manufactured by hand in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, Germany. Includes a certificate of authenticity and historical packaging.
